Sad

He’ll be missed. Great defensive player.

At the same time, I hope he falls flat on his face. I can’t believe I said that.

May not have been offered a contract but still...

Seriously, the Flyers?? He’s dead to me now.

no you cant blame him

he needs to make money, it’s not his fault. (I am being 100% serious)

damn. he is goin to try even harder to make sure we dont score PP goals on the flyers. this really doesnt sit well at all. and its not like he passed on us to go to the flyers, we never offered him anything

you know i hate to say this but the Flyers are really getting smart with who they get. They are paying real attention to detail. Betts was great for us, hey if you set a record in history doing something, your valuable. case closed. At 550,000 thats good value, for a team thats covered every base this offseason.

I’d rather have Betts centering my 4th line than Boyle…

by NYdemo on Oct 2, 2009 6:53 AM EDT reply actions

10 points gets me??? I don’t think there’s a fan alive counting on the 4th line for points, except for the occasional goal. I’m not counting on them to provide points or wins, clearly this years 4th line is about strength, toughness and intimidation. Betts did not score points, but he did take them away from the opposition and Boyle’s 10+/- points won’t equal that.

Go Betts go go go!

Just show our PP a little slack.

"Malik now." "6 foot 6, 238, not a noted goal scorer but he's gonna give it a shot here." "Malik has not scored this year. In on Kolzig, faked it....SCORES"
