Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

"It's nothing related to my groin or hip or torso," Gaborik said afterward. "We'll see how everything is in the morning. I collided with one of their players, but it's nothing major. It happened with about five minutes left and the game was pretty much over."

That sound you heard was 10 million Ranger fans exhaling, and 24 Islander fans all saying “^#%@%!!!!”

But…..
….why ??

In fairness – the Isles looked pretty decent last night against the Canadiens from the 10 or so minutes of the third period I watched. As always, they’re a hard-working team – and you can’t take a night off against them – something the Rangers had better be prepared for tomorrow night.

I think we have been over this a few times

his groin injuries was because of his hip, and his hip is fixed. Yes he has been injury prone, and yes we will always worry, but in my personal opinion there is nothing to worry about.

Okay but again

1) His constant groin injuries was because of his hip and his hip was fixed and cleared by the New York Rangers medical staff.

2) It was a leg injury, not any of that stuff. He will be fine.

not really worried here either, but he was held out of practice today. I wish we could just know what it is… I know there’s good reason for not disclosing injuries, but its so darn annoying.

It looks like PA Parenteau got called up. Hopefully this is just a precaution, like Grachev’s call-up when Cally was hurt.

yeah

interesting that they chose Parenteanu, he def deserves it

During Zipay's Live chat

Gabby got treatment and did nt skate.

I think hell skate when no one is around. I wouldnt be surprised if he isnt in the lineup tomorrow. I think hell be back for the game in Minny.

dude didn’t even know what part of his own body is hurt. that’s a concern- a he doesn’t want to play full games and full seasons concern. gotta question this guy’s heart til he proves any bit of grit.

What???

Didn’t know because he didn’t tell???? This is hockey, where the injury does not need to be disclosed, not football, but thanks for commenting.

gabbys

Gonna be fine and if he needs a game off to recover that fine by me. And the game was over. No sense keepin him out there. Kinda like pullin eli manning in the fourth quarter when the giants are up by 21 pts. Relax ranger fans its not the eastern conference finals.
