do you mean letting pittsburgh score a touchdown and being shutdown while letting tyler kennedy and matt cooke level every ranger that moves with no response.
I’m just hoping that Bobby S, Delzotto, Staal, and Gilroy have a good game against Pittsburgh high offensive talented forwards.
Was that really Marc Staal?"

is it just me
or is the 1st line the only line that rushes/crashes the net together?
which explains why they score and no one else does

In fairness the first line is also the only line that isn’t completely overhauled every period

i need to say it.
tortorella is an awful coach.
simple as that.
no reaosn voros bashear and higgins should be on against malkin or crosby in any circumstance.
simple as that. i hope john tortorella is fired tomorrow. hes not a good coach but he makes it because hes supposed to be fiery and make his team work hard, but he cant motivate this team either.
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
they iced the puck, had to stay on
Pitt got their big guys on.
Rangers FTW!
by BleedsRangerBlue on Nov 28, 2009 8:15 PM EST up reply actions
there were atleast 4 shifts with our 4th against their first. thats bad coaching.
the game first started and rozi is paired with staal. so rozi is on the ice against malkin and crosby, and they get a 2 on 1. BAD COACHING
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
home team gets last line change. nothing torts can do about opponent’s opening line. same goes for the 4th line, bylsma has good matchups going. it’s not tort’s fault
than how come we dont get those matchups when were at home.
and voros should not be in the nhl.
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
mainly because they are not noticeable, as most teams have decent 4th lines, or usually have a defensive d man out there against gabby. Our 4th line has traffic cones.
its true…..4th line was Renney’s old move, but this isn’t the same line that Renney had….they never let up goals with Orr
by blueshirts1623 on Nov 28, 2009 8:16 PM EST up reply actions
we had betts ans sjo. good players in the defensive zone. this team does not know how to play in their defensive zone
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
took another offensive zone penalty
just stood around and watched the puck in our end
its good to finally see someone step up for their teammate…yeah he got his ass kicked but at least he has the stones
Agreed. Boyle is admittedly not a fighter, it was nice to see him show the stones to step in there though.

Jim, you really believe that goal was voros’s fault. Maybe cause he took the faceoff he should have covered in front of the net?
by gmanuelian on Nov 28, 2009 8:26 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
see the play on the goal where he passed it to Crosby?
see the play on the goal where he literally skated right past Malkin in front of the net?
see the play on the faceoff where he got pushed over by CROSBY?
And i mean it’s Voros’s fault for eveything, every game, all season.
the Malkin goal he was just standing there. Besides, its fun to blame him for everything.

is it me or do we define our offensive time on attack by doing some work on the boards get one lousy shot on goal and then give up a 3 on 2 and play defense for 2 minutes and start the process over again. This team needs creativity and confidence.
by gmanuelian on Nov 28, 2009 8:24 PM EST via mobile reply actions

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
Hi from Pens land. No, not here to rub it in, I’m not like that.
Your comment’s intriguing. I’ve never been big on Orpik’s defense. His checking, sure, but up until recently he often got himself out of position or had the old Josef Melichar confused look when trying to figure out which guy to cover. What is it specifically that you see in him?
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
a defender that got experienced and rarely is cought out of position these days, can lay a big hit and nutralize a dangerous offensive player.
There is a knack to flying: it's learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
by Sid the captain on Nov 28, 2009 8:32 PM EST up reply actions
You have to accept the position that as Rangers fans, when we see a guy like Orpik hit, it’s as if it was the biggest hit we’ve ever seen. As Rangers fans, we are used to oohhing and aaawwing at a little bump in the corner. Also, Orpik stands up for his teammates, and does it effectively. And most importantly, he clears the front of the net
Yeah. From my perspective, I’m used to folks like Ulf Samuelsson and Darius Kasparaitis (before he forgot how to play actual D, that is), so another big hitter is just that, another big hitter. If he doesn’t play D particularly well, I’m not interested.
It’s probably telling that my favorite D-man from our team last year was Scuderi, and it’s McKee this year. Positional guys who don’t need to lay people out to do their jobs.
They give up prime scoring chances
every team is allowed to go down the gut unchecked
I actually like voros
he’s a big goon, can’t play for shit, and loses almost every fight but keeps fighting every game to stay with the rangers and stand up for this team every time he is on the ice. He’s not even a real goon but he tries real hard to be one lol
yeah for less money
the problem with voros and brashear are their making too much for what they bring
you got that right about brash
I wouldn’t want brash for free.
7 to be exact, he was traded to Atlanta for Alex Bourret

On February 26, 2007, Bourret was traded to the New York Rangers in exchange for Pascal Dupuis and a 3rd round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft (Robert Bortuzzo). He is signed to play for the Thetford Mines Isothermic of the LNAH., most recently with the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL. On February 26, 2007, Bourret was traded to the Coyotes for a third round pick in the 2008 NHL Draft, and after unimpressive work in the AHL released in September, 2009.

Everyone saw this coming. Tortorella needs the axe at this point along with a good handful of players.
Of course with Torts goes Sullivan
"Malik now." "6 foot 6, 238, not a noted goal scorer but he's gonna give it a shot here." "Malik has not scored this year. In on Kolzig, faked it....SCORES"
i think torts should get axed and sullivan should take over.

He should. Give credit to a kid who’s 10x the captain he is
"Malik now." "6 foot 6, 238, not a noted goal scorer but he's gonna give it a shot here." "Malik has not scored this year. In on Kolzig, faked it....SCORES"
I don’t like him but Drury is sucking up about the same $$$ Crosby is and that is a joke

Ah I see we didn't win and I was giving the pens 5
sorry but valley sucks. This is the second time torts put him in against not just one of the best teams in the leauge but the F’N SC champions. I don’t care what your trying to do with hank, quite fucking pampering him. He’s getting worse. He does better after he loses because he wants to get back in his game
So we lost, At least they threw down tonight and didn’t put up with anybody (AA) pushing us around for once this season. I still liked byers.
I don’t care what ya’ll say Sather will be gone if we end up last in our division. Torts could be too as this team appears worse than rennys..
We should start looking at the postives.. the draft!! haha
Sather
He could step down too or retire if we have a blowout season against us
Why would he?
The only way changes will be made is if fans stop showing up, because to the owners, that is all that matters. If the seats are full, the cash registers are ringing

if they lose enough
they’ll stop selling out games and that will be a game changer
The Garden will rip these guys up good
if we get our asses kicked again. Some guys like redden, drury and rozi many want to leave NY or retire if this season continues like this or gets worse. Heck Naslund had 20+ goals and still hung it up.
WoW
The Rangers Really Really Suck!!!! Id rather cut my eye out with a spoon than watch this team play against a good team!!! Hurts to say but true !!!!
