Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

least talented team in the east?

Once you get past Gaborik and Prospal,Hank and Girardi, DelZotto and maybe Staal, you have essentially the least talented lineup in the East, and one of the elast in the entire NHL..How many guys cannot take a pass on their tape while on the move? How many cannot accept a backhand pass or make a backhanded shot? How many fail to hit the net over and over again, leading to around the boards breakouts by the opponents? Hell we even have a monster truck in Boyle who can't raise a fist and a tough guy who can't skate much faster than any of the 70 year old alumni ....Sather has beern content to rest on his edmonton laurels and blame the salary cap for creating this mess...why can NJ keep the pressure on with a lot of no names year after year? Maybe because their scouts see basic skills in a different light than ours do?...DOlan has eld the Garden to oblivion w/the Knicks and now 15 years of crap from the Rangers and he doesn't seem to care a whit that both teams are losing fans and respect faster than Tiger. How sad...And I've been going to the Garden sicne 1961...

I just think the team is in a major transition. The GF Average as a team is up to 2.87 from 2.39 last season. On the flip side, the GA Average is up as well (up to 3.09 from 2.54 last season).

Its the style of play Torts is trying to implement. They are struggling right now and have hit a road block. If they get a couple of bounces and put a streak of two or three wins at a time before Christmas this will just be looked upon as just a bad stretch.

i agree with Rob

that at least its refreshing to see a team in transition. in years past you would have seen kids like MDZ and Sangs shipped out in the off season for declining veterans. the big 3 contracts are killing them, and until they come off the books this team cant compete. at least they seemed to have gotten one right with Gabby

epic fail in the fact that....

i am pretty sure you have not watched every team play like i have since i have center ice and the leafs are by far the least talented team in the league along with some other teams that are 100 times worse then the rangers are

public enemy #1 is jake delhomme jr. a.k.a mark sanchez

First off...

Dolan hasn’t led the Garden to anything…he just hires a GM and leaves him there….he is not an active owner and just seems to not care after he hires someone with a “name”.

Second…absolutely not, the Rangers aren’t the least talented team in the East. Even after this past months pile of crap, they are still in the thick of the race.

The Leafs and Canes are the worst teams in the East…by far.

Its are the Rangers the team that jetted out to a hot start or are they the team that took a big dump the month of November?

They’ve played to 2 extremes the past 2 months.

We’re in a new month so lets see what they do.

But that’s bullcrap to call them the least talented team in the East. You really can’t believe that bullshit can you?
