Chris Kreider, No. 20, and Team USA celebrate his goal in the second period in their 3-0 win over Switzerland

Chris Kreider, No. 20, and Team USA celebrate his goal in the second period in their 3-0 win over Switzerland

So what was supposed to be an off week for us has turned into a busy and exciting couple of shows for us.

Tonight, the show starts at 8, and at 8:30, we will be joined by RW Dale Weise from the Hartford Wolfpack.  Dale is having a solid season in the AHL, with 9 goals and 13 assists in 34 games.

Tomorrow, we have a special afternoon edition of Blueshirt Banter Radio at 1:30 EST, and we will be joined by New York Rangers 2009 First Round Draft Pick Chris Kreider, who is currently playing for the USA in the World Junior Championship.

If you aren't able to join us live, as always the shows will be available on podcast after their conclusion. They can be downloaded to your MP3 player right from the show page.

As always, you can click the link for Blueshirt Banter Radio, or listen to the show on the player below:

i said today vs latvia should be a fantasy type game for the US and after 1 period 6-0 US.

Bourque 1A
Stepan 1A
Kreider 1G

Once again Stepan got an assist on a Kreider goal on the power play. good to see them have some chemistry together and even better that it comes on special teams. I expect a few more points will be racked up today against a very overmatched team before they play canada on thurs.

Well, its great that we have Kreider coming on tomorrow then. We were originally supposed to have Stepan, not sure why the change, but we are happy to have any of them.

Stepan might have other commitments due to being the captain of the squad, but not sure on that.

LOL !! +1

Hey Jim – when are you going to get Higgins on? Make sure it’s the day after a game, so he gets a hat trick.

by dbmaven on Dec 29, 2009 8:10 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

if it works i expect to have jim have a show the day after every game and higgins to be his guest.

Works for me !

If that’s the kind of voodoo it takes to get him some goals – I’m all for it. I’ll even call in and talk to him……
