NHL News: Flyers Fire John Stevens

Tim Panaccio Reports the Flyers have fired head coach John Stevens. John-stevens_medium

via www.meltyourfaceoff.net

I really didn't think they had it in them. John Stevens was way to passive for a team of undisciplined prima-donnas, now I'm terrified they might start playing to there potential. Does anyone know where Mike Keenan is? I think he'd whip them into shape. Not that this will effect the Rangers as they continue to spiral into the cellar. Funny thing is I thought Torts would've been great for the Flyers last year before we hired him, I could see them playing his system they have enough two way guys who have a lot of scoring potential, unlike the Rangers and their no way tweeners.

Rumors now showing up that the Hurricanes have given permission for the Flyers to court Peter Laviolette – some are saying he’ll be behind the bench as soon as tomorrow…

How will the Rangers beat the Flyers now if they can no longer sit back and allow the Flyers to beat themselves.

Apparently Mike Richards is stepping down as captain and yielding it to Pronger…Pierre McGuire is gonna shit himself over how much intangibles it takes to do that.

“Does anyone know where Mike Keenan is?”

Please tell me you’re joking since you’re a Ranger fan & I’m sure you watch the games.

The Rangers are far too bad of a team

for me to be terrified at the thought of what another crappy team full of underachievers might do with a new coach. Who cares, our team is so bad, let’s just be worried about Sather doing something horrible at the deadline. That’s what terrifies me.

like trading cally or dubi for a veteran that is sure to get us the 8th seed & then leave right after a quick 1st round exit like previous deadlines?
this scares me and if it happens i have no idea what ill do. i honestly have no idea how the man continue to has a job in 2009 based soley on achievements 15-30 years ago.
