You know what was awesome? They skated to an open spot on the ice and started fighting, classic. They didnt start going at it right away, it was like, ok, lets go over here, get our stuff off, and we’ll go

the thought crossed my mind. leafs fans can be just as crazy as yankees fans, but they also do know their hockey. i kind of think they expected him to bang bodies since he’s so big, but jagr was huge too and he was still a physical presence without throwing big hit.s

3 Questions to ponder during the 2nd intermission....

Gaborik is a UFA at the end of the season, should the Rangers be interested, will they be interested, and do you want them to be interested?

depends on the contract. his values going to take a hit because of his latest injury and his past history of them. it’s going to be made even worse for him due to the economy. i’d be interested of course, he’s a great player, but i dont think the circumstances are going to be realistic/worth it.

by John Merrigan on Mar 24, 2009 8:49 PM EDT up reply actions

Gaborik

I would like to see him become a RANGER,but he won’t come cheap and the cap is still going to be tight.

by crossbar on Mar 24, 2009 8:46 PM EDT reply actions

Agreed

I am not sure if the Rangers look to clear some cap space, or where they can do it, but boy he would look good in blue
