Brashear

The big goon is getting dressed tonight. One of the biggest dirt bags in hockey, good thing Orr is out there.

by John Merrigan on Apr 20, 2009 6:39 PM EDT reply actions

just curious, why do you think he is one of the biggest dirt bags in hockey? he unfortunately has the role of the “enforcer” on his team, and that’s what he does. has he done things out of line with the “code?”

i think someone like bertuzzi is a much bigger dirt bag in the history of hockey.

by Pookie on Apr 20, 2009 6:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Washington Post

says Brashear dressed & took part in warmup, but doesn’t look like he’ll be in the game:

As you’ve probably seen by now, rookie goalie Simeon Varlamov came onto the ice first for warm-ups, which means he’ll make his second straight start for the Caps. Henrik Lundqvist, of course, will start for the Rangers, who are looking to take a 3-0 lead in this Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Based on warmups, the rest of the Caps’ lineup should look like this:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Kozlov
Laich-Fedorov-Semin’
Fleischmann-Nylander-Fehr
Steckel-Gordon-Bradley
Brashear took the warm-up, but did not do any line rushes.

Defensemen
Morrisonn-Green
Poti-Jurcina
Erskine-Pothier

THere's gonna be a ton of scraps today.

I don;t like cheap shots, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Caps take a few cheap shots today, probably at Avery.

I doubt that Colton Orr stays out of the penalty box today……

Hi guys. If the Rangers get ahead early, its gonna get ugly

Joe (Ranger Reporter) is at the game, he got there at 5:45 and said the fans outside were already going bezerk

me too, I still have this wild fantasy that somehow the Rangers play the Canes in the East Finals and I make the drive up there.

Is the game on MSG as well? I’m not getting it on the package, only Vs.
