Around SBN: This Should Encourage Juan Mata

An interesting piece of news. Jim Schoenfeld, the interim assistant coach who was the interim head coach today, said that Brandon Dubinsky needed a tetanus shot after he was bitten by Shaone Morrisonn during a scrum, that Dubinsky got the misconduct because he was trying to show the officials he was bleeding.

When attending this years NHL festival, stay away from the Shaone Morrisonn and Jarkko Ruutu kissing-booth. The refs owe us about a dozen penalty-minutes on Tuesday between this incident and Brashear’s atrocious cheap shot.

This is something the league needs to start taking a look at. This is, what, the third biting incident (either alleged or all-but-proven) in the last year? Definitely not something you want to have become a constant issue.

Notice how the Cap fans stayed away from this thread

maybe biting incidents arent as important as some coach throwing a water bottle.

they have their own discussion on the topic on their thread. No matter, let them enjoy their win. All we can do is hope and pray for the Rangers and the Hockey Gods to shine on us tomorrow night.

Regardless of all the ancillary stuff from the last two games, the Caps have outplayed the Rangers in both games, and deserve to be where they are.
