There are a lot of current Rangers who don’t belong in Tortorella’s system. I’m gonna withhold excitement until this roster gets an overhaul. Sorry to be a wet blanket.

I’m not a Torts guy. I don’t like his demeanor behind the bench, but more importantly, I don’t think he is the right guy for the personnel the Rangers have right now. If they overhaul the offense and get players like he had in TB or Buffalo had a few years ago it might work out. But that’s a tall order with the limited cap space and unmovable contracts.
