Game 7's Open Thread

Nhl_current_medium We've got two Game 7's tonight, so feel free to use this as an open thread while you watch the games. Talk about the games, the Rangers, Mets, Yankees, Giants, Jets, whatever, just try and keep it sports related.

Gimme the Bruins and Ducks tonight.

really?

You really want a Boston team to win? Ever?

F Boston, I hope the Canes to to the B’s what the Penguins did to the Caps.

And I like the Ducks too.

Its a shame that the playoffs are only on VS. Id love to be switching back and forth with these 2 games (I could if I was back in Massachusetts….But school can wait….)

I don’t harbor the hatred for Boston that most NY fans do. Plus, I usually root “original 6” when the Rangers aren’t in it. I figure Carolina, Anaheim, and Detroit all have recent Cups, and Chicago-Boston would be a fun series, so that is how I am rooting.

OK

Id love to see Chicaaahgo in it.

I can see that about Boston. I’ve watched them all season and I admit it would be a fun series with them and the hawks in it. There aren’t many other teams, if any, who have more legit young talent (that I wish were on the Rangers) than these 2 teams.

there’s a friendly group at BattleofCali for people rooting for the Ducks, if things are a little slow here, guys. a lot of people are there hating detroit. well, there is also this one crazy wings fan there who won’t go away, but i guess that’s to be expected with wings fans.

honestly, I don’t like to spend alot of time in other teams open threads. I figure if they are like me, they prefer to be among their own, especially in tense times like these. Everyone is always welcome here, but I always prefer to “watch the games at home”, if you catch my drift.

so where do we stand with our round 2 predictions?

i think i have 6 pts (2 for the penguins and 4 for the blackhawks) but i really don’t remember anymore.

you’re gonna give us an update tonight right? :)

anyhow. first period looked pretty even in detroit. this might come down to a stupid penalty, which means anaheim’s in trouble…
