Games 1 and 2 back to back, then two days between Games 5-6 and 6-7? This is unheard of. I understand the arenas may have prior commitments, but this is the Stanley Cup Finals; not some circus act!

It was either that or wait a week, I believe this was NBC’s wishes

hahah No problem

Actually was a big concern because I’m going up to NYC to watch the Mets game Saturday. My gf is a huge Penguins fan and demanded we be back on Sunday in time to watch the game.

hahahahah

Trust me, at certain points, I just have to bite my tongue. But she is Pittsburgh born and bred so I have to allow her her faults.

the Stanley Cup finals game 3-4 are not on basic cable……

by FreeBradshaw on May 28, 2009 7:33 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

versus is basic cable…or maybe that’s just with cablevision?

I meant

on major cable networks. Yea, pretty much everyone with cable has VS. nowadays, but you’d think the Cup would remain on NBC.
