This was just "Tweeted" to me:

Darren Dreger (TSN) on the radio today said that 3 teams are currently in the hunt for Dany Heatley: The Rangers, Sharks and Oilers.

No surprise there, the one thing that concerns me about that scenario is that the Sharks could offer Patrick Marleu (sp).

Dubinsky, Stepan, Rosival, Voros are the rumored players involved.

Obviously there have to be draft picks going each way.

Where did you hear the players involved?

Btw, I was just about to get into your topic last night, and callers started coming in, and we got on a Leetch topic. Sorry, we are shooting for another show Wednesday night next week, I want to talk about it then

Yea, I just finished listening to it now. Thanks for the attempt. I’ll be calling in next time and I’ll ask about it.

Wednesday next week is July 1, so it’s the start of the free agency period.

Yeah thats why I want to do it that night, I figure that should be a relatively busy day. We’ll be on for 90 minutes, starting at 7:30 Wednesday night

Perfect! I’m getting out early that day, so I’ll be able to call in.

Hopefully some deals will get done, I want to see what the market value gets set at. The first deal is always the one that sets the bar for everyone else.

Yea, I didn’t know he was really quick too. But the thing with the Rangers is that they are real deep at center (Dubi, Grachev, AA, Stepan, Drury, Gomez). You always trade from a strength to develop a weakness.
