This kid is massive

i would love to see him whip Pronger’s @ss when we play Philly.

Lopez wants it away, and it's hit deep to left center, Andruw Jones on the run, this one has a chance... home run!!, Mike Piazza!, and the Mets lead 3 to 2!!

Betts?

I don’t think 6"7 244 has anything to do with Betts.

THis seems like the official end of Colton Orr.

even if we waived Redden

we would still have trouble fitting Dan Boyle under the cap

Good for Sather, – now he’s had 2 of the 3 failures from the 2003 Draft!

Glen Sather is a Hockey Genius.

There is no way

anyone can say that Zherdev is a “failure.” Zherdev is a really good, very young, hockey player. Boyle might not pan out to a first round pick but he isnt a failure eaither. Plus Boyle is only 24 you never know he could be a late bloomer.

Dont get too excited

Thinking that we have a potential replacement for Colton Orr with an offensive upside. Yes the man is massive and he was drafted like 26th overall in his draft so that means he brings alot more to the party than just physicallity right? And that picture of him throwing a huge punch in Edmonton looks good too though…….haha. But think about this, Boyle was drafted in 2003 and in 28 games last year he scored 4-1 for a total of 5 points. Wow that sounds like 1st round quality there huh? He was drafted 6 years ago, Whats up with his development? It’s pretty obvious as far as the first round we can call him a bust. Now as far as his size and playing with an edge, i was reading a comment left by a Kings fan. He made a reference to Boyle as the 6’7" man with the 5’9" game. And you would figure a guy with his size would like to get his nose dirty in the corners and along the boards. Apparantely not the case with this guy. But I guess the retard Sather believes Boyle is another case in which a change of scenery is what the doctor ordered. Lets hope so…………….but then again we gave up a 3rd rd pick for him and those have been pretty worthless to the Rangers since the retard has been around………….right?

Hope it works out well for Boyle in NYC

As a Kings fan, I am very disappointed with how they tried to develop Brian Boyle since the 2003 draft. He was a scoring maching playing center in the NCAA. So what did the Kings do? Move him to defense, of course. Fail. Next idea, move him to the wing. Again – fail. If the Rangers can give him a chance to become a second line center, you will find that Boyle has soft hands and a great scoring touch. The above comment that Boyle is a 6’6" center plaing a 5’9" game is pretty accurate. Don’t expect for him come in and be a Cal Clutterbuck or Daniel Carcillo. Let Brian Boyle play his style of game, and I believe that Rangers fans will become pleasantly surprised with what you picked up for a 2010 3rd-pick.
