Around SBN: Leandro Damiao Is Still Really Good

NHL News: New Jersey Devils may name "new" head coach today, is it Jacques Lemaire?

The Devils are apparently ready to name a new head coach, and may be turning back the hands of time (and resurrecting "2-1" hockey) to do it.

According to Tom Gulitti at North Jersey.com, the Devils are expected to name a new head coach today at a 1:30 PM press conference, and all signs are pointing to it being former coach Jacques Lemaire.

Lemaire was the Devils head coach from 1993 to 1998, and helped the franchise win the first of its three Stanley Cups in 1995. Lemaire was the head coach of the Minnesota Wild, but stepped down at season's end.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed, the "Combover" is back in NJ

As much as I hate the Devils

and also the fact they are one of the top 5 teams in the NHL year in and out, why the hell do they switch coaches each year?

Maybe its a good thing, but it seems that every season its a new coach, and of course they fire him with 2 weeks to go and Lou Lamorillo takes over (and his bald head too).

Honestly, I can’t fault anything the Devils do, because 75% of it turns up roses for them. I don’t like them either, but I sure do admire the way they’ve built their organization

I believe so

Lopez wants it away, and it's hit deep to left center, Andruw Jones on the run, this one has a chance... home run!!, Mike Piazza!, and the Mets lead 3 to 2!!
