NHL News: NHL prepares Winter Classic Announcement at Fenway Park, schedule release to follow

As we discussed yesterday, the NHL is releasing the schedule for the 2009-10 season at 3PM EST this afternoon, precluded by a press conference at Fenway Park in Boston at 2 PM to make a major announcement, presumably about this year's Winter Classic.

The attached picture was twittered out a little while ago, so I guess that will put any doubt to rest.
Notice the banners beyond the Green Monster, Flyers and Bruins. Word is the Capitals will instead play the Canadiens at Olympic Stadium in November as part of the Habs Centennial.
