NHL News: Nigel Dawes waived by Rangers AAA team, claimed by Flames

Nigel Dawes lasted slightly longer in Phoenix than a glass of water. Dawes filed for arbitration with the Coyotes, but Phoenix waved him instead. Calgary has claimed him off waivers, and his arbitration case will be heard next week, if the Flames don't sign him first

AAA

i like it. sather has not made one good trade with the coyotes, i’m starting to expect the lisin deal to be a bust as well

I think when Lisin is introduced to the lights of NYC

he could change for the better. I mean playing in Pheonix is not fun for a young player.

Lopez wants it away, and it's hit deep to left center, Andruw Jones on the run, this one has a chance... home run!!, Mike Piazza!, and the Mets lead 3 to 2!!

i disagree actually. if i were a young player, a team like the coyotes would be great in some ways. sure they’re going to lose a lot of their games, but a younger guy can get a ton of ice time there and will be given more responsibilities than on a veteran team

Yeah, I'm thinking

as soon as Torts yells at Lisin he’ll be back in Russia.

Haha, AAA team

He skates really hard and puts himself in scoring situations, but he never delivers the happy ending.

I had the same problem when I lived in Phoenix, before I met the misses of course

I’m thinking Nigel escaped and boarded a bus to Calgary as Petr was dragging Al away :)
