PrintA few notes regarding the Rangers minor league affiliates:
The Rangers and Devils top minor league teams are going to square off at the Pebble in Newark. The Lowell Devils and Hartford Wolfpack will face off on January 6th and February 3rd.
The Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL and the Rangers have agreed to extend their affiliation for the 2009-2010 season.
"We are very pleased to have extended our affiliation with the Charlotte Checkers," stated Jim Schoenfeld, Rangers' assistant general manager, player personnel. "Having this working relationship with a respected organization affords us the perfect platform to grow and develop our prospects."

The Checkers have a really sweet logo by the way. Someone did a nice job designing that.
One other thing the Checkers have that is pretty sweet is the "Checkmates".....enjoy!
