In yesterday's 6-4 loss to Russia Derek Stepan notched two assists. I know we have been talking alot about Bourque and Kreider when it comes to this evaluation camp but Stepan has been on fire. I can't wait to see him at training camp this year. You're thoughts?

Stepan will probably spend most of his career flying under the radar. He’s not a flashy player, just an excellent two-way forward (plays on both PP and PK) who was second on his college team in scoring as a freshman (first among forwards). I know it’s still a few years away but I’m really looking forward to seeing this kid in a Rangers jersey.
Just to make that stat more impressive
he was second on the team in points on Wisconsin … one of the best NCAA hockey programs in the USA. They put out NHL players like it’s their jobs. Dont forget new d prospect from Montreal McDonagh, he plays on Wisconsin too if i am not mistaken

I like Stephan
I don’t want rain on anyone’s parade but as is the Rangers lineup as of now hasn’t got me jazzed. I’d rather see all this young talent we have brought in now and get a baptism by fire.
This is one of the guys I wanna see NOW . Screw Tyler Arnason and Peter Boyle. Bring Stephan and Grachev up now

I don;t think Arnason makes the squad
and Boyle’s nothing more than a 4th liner.
There’s really no reason to waste the young guys on the 4th line anyway, Torts isn;t gonna use it all that much.
