Blueshirt Banter Radio Tomorrow Night!

I'm taking a break from my vacation tomorrow night to host Blueshirt Banter Radio. We'll talk about the latest Rangers news, and anything else that is going on.

Also, Joe will be at the Yankee game tomorrow night, so I'll be mixing it up with a few co-hosts, a few of the people you know and love on our show.

Tomorrow night, I want you guys to call in with some Ranger stories. Did you have a player encounter (good or bad) that you want to talk about? Was there a game you were at that holds a special meaning? Tomorrow night, we want to hear about it.

As always, the fun starts at 7 PM, running until 9 PM, see you then!

Please tell my story on the show as I will be working when you broadcast

The year the NHL came back from the Lockout. Jan 5th, 2006 the Rangers were down 3-2 and it was late in the 3rd period. I was sitting in the lower level corner on the benches side where the Rangers were scoring twice near the main media area above the entrance to the Flyers dressing room.

Jaromir Jagr took the puck and skated along the boards and as he was infront of me. With a man on him he went up and down the boards till out of nowhere Jagr made a quick cross ice pass.

Antero Niittymaki (or as I call him Finlandian Cheese) was very slow to go across his crease and out of nowhere Martin Straka stuffs that puck in the net with just 1+ left in the 3rd to tie it at 3. I exploded out of my chair first and then the Garden erupted. As I was celebrating I looked down and infront of me dancing a high step was the Incomprable Rod Gilbert. He came towards me and we shook hands celebrating a hell of a goal.

Unfortunatly Simon Gagne jumped the face off and got a goal past Weekes to win in OT, but that was a fantastic moment for me to see the Rangers get the equalizer and to celebrate it with a Rangers legend.
