Heatley Dealt to San Jose per TSN
http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=290808
It Seems that Dany Heatley has gotten his wish.
The Ottawa Senators dealt the veteran forward to the San Jose Sharks for Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo and a second round pick.
Pretty terrible deal for Ottawa if you ask me. Jonathan Cheechoo is at this point a spare part, Michalek is a nice young player who had 23 goals last year so I guess it isn't a total loss. This happily takes the Rangers out of the Heatley sweepstakes (which I never thought they were actually still in after the Gaborik signing). Lets hope for Dubinsky signing soon, rather than being dealt in a deal for Kessel.

i dont think that its too bad for ottawa, although cheecoo is a big question mark. hes really done nothing since his 50 goal campaign, which is a nice way of saying that it was courtesy of one joey thornton. thought they were goin to move marleau bein that they allready stripped him of the C and all
Murray and the Senators have such a terrible reputation out of all this no? Don’t even mention Heatley… if he’s happy in San Jose, let him, at least he’s not in the Eastern Conference to be on anyone’s mind anymore.
Oh, and KingHenrik, I made one last update on my post, to follow it up, and gave a link to this page. Nice find.
