Am I gonna be able to watch this game online for free? Do you think the NHL has thought about this? Bettman probably doesn’t want the preseason broadcasted, wouldn’t want to drum up to much interest in his own league.

DelZotto and Gilroy with a couple of body checks – but they took themselves out of the play.

i agree but i sort of expected it from him having watched him at BU a few times. MDZ seems more ready than i expected. im intrigued to see Heikkinen tomorrow i presume.

by mleetch352 on Sep 15, 2009 7:46 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

it's really going to be a battle for those spots!

MDZ really doesn’t want to go back to the OHL

by Poe678 on Sep 15, 2009 7:47 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

im divided on that because i dont think it hurt staal at all to go back for another year and be ready to play huge minutes right from the go. if heikkinen is even close to even to MDZ through camp i would rather keep him and let MDZ get another year to dominate in the OHL.

I don’t see how Gilroy doesn’t make the team. He looks like a veteran already.

I mean, hard to go crazy over one preseason game, but boy he looks fluid.
