One of Grachev's final games to show that he should be on the team ...
Blueshirt Banter: Covering the New York Rangers the only NHL team with three home arenas.
he should be on the team. but he should also play full-game minutes.

minutes are more important than the NHL right now

which is why artem should not be a 4th line center
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:14 PM EDT up reply actions
yeah but Anisimov not making the team would be a bit of a joke
Move prospal over to wing, Anisimov is the future, Prospal isnt (at least I hope not) lol

i agree, but i would rather have him not make it then be 4th line center.
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:16 PM EDT up reply actions
i agree with that
but if he doesnt make the team there will be problems

sure there will. i dont care if it is prospal, dubi or drury, one of them has to move. prospal is the easiest.
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:17 PM EDT up reply actions
Anisimov would be 4th line? I thought Boyle is 4th line.
"Jaromir Jagr.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"
- Sam Rosen
last two days in practice and tonight he has been playing 4th line pivot and torts video after practice didnt make me feel better about it.
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:19 PM EDT up reply actions
it’s just different line combos, so players play in different roles. I don’t think the talent potential that AA is would sit 4th line by Torts.
"Jaromir Jagr.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"
- Sam Rosen
He said he’s trying him out to see how he performs, there.
"Jaromir Jagr.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"

exactly as in there is a chance he plays there and that chance shouldnt exist, shouldnt be on the table at all.

man look at Gilroy jump into the play
take his shot then get back on defense.

u dont move anyone down. u move someone else over. prospal to lw is the easiest move.
Prospal – Dubi – Gaborik
Higgins – Drury – Kotalik
Avery – Artem – Cally
Brashear – Boyle – Lisin.
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:18 PM EDT up reply actions
i would even like to take the chance of swapping dubi and artem, but i dont see that happening at least at the start.
by Michael Gleich on Sep 24, 2009 7:19 PM EDT up reply actions
you dont
you move Prospal to wing

Teach the star, and the future star how to play the penalty kill. Nice.

if he can kill them w jacques he can certainly do it with torts.

he has short handed goals, but i cant find a site to split situational time to find out much he was used on it.

Really though….I think it was Higgins dug it off the boards and it chipped to Gaborik for a breakaway, and Redden took the shot that set up the scrum that led to Gabby banging home the 2nd goal.
