Puck Daddy 2009-10 Eastern Conference Staff Prognostications

Puck Daddy over at Yahoo Sports today released their predictions for the Eastern Conference for this season. Each of the writers selected their conference winners, and predicted order of finish for each division and conference.

Be forewarned, there is very little love here for our New York Rangers.

I'm not just saying this because I am a fan, and because its good for business, but I do think people are selling the Rangers a little short. But that's ok, maybe the Rangers can take a page out of the Giants "Nobody respects us" playbook, and make it work for them.

But, not everyone shares the dim view of the Rangers upcoming season. Former Ranger and current TSN analyst Matthew Barnaby feels the Rangers will be a contender for the division title. Check out the video, courtesy of the Rangers website:

No Love at all

Can’t wait till the season starts and the Rangers surprise a whole bunch of people. I bet people will be changing their tune pretty quickly when the Rangers get rolling.

so, i guess that makes this the millionth site (espn, tsn, yahoo…)that wants to give the rangers nice bulletin board material. i know im a bias fan but my view of the conference is better than theirs.
1. Caps 2. Pens 3. Bruins 4. Rangers 5. Flyers 6. Hurricanes 7. Lightning 8. Devils is a little more accurate.

well

i guess we will just make their projections look dumb again ;)

this is almost getting old. we can win the cup and the next yar be predicted to miss the playoffs. it will make it even sweeter now when we kick some a$$

my east predictions

1. caps 2. bruins 3. pens 4. phili 5. rangers 6. canes 7.devils 8. sabres(maybe canadiens if they get their act together)

let them say what they want. we are a better team than last year and we finish in 7th the worst. no scoring last year and we made it, and we have a healthy gabby, he is healed(so we all hope atleast)
