That would make the most sense with Montreal on Sunday.

It most likely was. We have this cool feature on the site that you could write posts ahead of time but schedule them to post in the future. That is probably what Jim did with this one.

I was surprised. He made me check the schedule. I thought I had another night to wait for the Devils game.

by inHANKweTruST on Jan 12, 2010 1:11 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

As per Gross yesterday:

Vinny Prospal-Erik Christensen-Marian Gaborik
Brandon Dubinsky-Chris Drury-Ryan Callahan
Sean Avery-Artem Anisimov-Christopher Higgins
Aaron Voros/Donald Brashear-Brian Boyle-Ales Kotalik/Enver Lisin

Torts said they weren’t set. I hope not.

Cripes

That’s a lot of stats, Jim. No one should ever need to know that much before a game. Although it was interesting reading on a slow work day.

Who's the 2nd healthy scratch tonight?

I hope it’s Brash, but it could be Lisin or Kotalik. I doubt it will be Ales with his 2 goals recently, but I would rather have him scratched than Lisin. Do we need toughness against Jersey? If so, Brash could be playing and neither Lisin or Ales. Either way I love these rivalry games, and Hank always steps it up against Jersey.

Should be a Good One

This should be a great game. If the Rangers can play defense like they did on Saturday against the Bruins. as well as grind it out like they did in that game, they should be able to play a tight one with the Debbies tonight.

BTW, I will be covering the postgame recap after the game with Jim doing the radio show at 9:30 pm. If you would like, you can read my pregame preview as well.

Going to the game tonight. This should be a good barometer of how good we are, a healthy and rested lineup versus an elite team. Devils suck.
