I think the idea is that Emery is the teams number 1 goalie going forward so we have to give him all the opportunities we can.

Should be a great game! I can’t wait to see Gaborik in action

by ToddtheFox on Jan 21, 2010 6:45 PM EST up reply actions

They’re trying to get Emery back into the groove after missing so much time with his injury.

It’s not really clear that Leighton has been a lot better than Emery, as Ray was playing great before getting hurt. Leighton kinda came back to earth last week against Toronto anyway.

smart play by jvr vs lundqvist. few players shoot early on a break vs hank and look for a rebound, they try to outweight him and lose.

well that is how they are getting a lot of the turnovers by banging bodies and the rangers giving up the puck.

hartnell should get dq’ed for fighting w a visor.

by Michael Gleich on Jan 21, 2010 9:05 PM EST up reply actions

Ok, I gotta step in and say that I am a Flyers fan and this has to be the stupidest post I have ever seen on an opponents boards. You’re not gonna count a fight because our tough guy beat your superstar, when your super star STARTED the fight?

Wow.

by Chocula78 on Jan 21, 2010 9:06 PM EST up reply actions

he didnt start it

i have dvr and watched it 5 times.. carcillo punched him with his glove on and gabby while looking down dropped his goves to protect himslef and fight.. you dumb fuck

LETS GO RANGERS!!!! SECTION 405!!!!!

by kiop900 on Jan 21, 2010 9:08 PM EST up reply actions

Who drops their gloves to “protect” themselves? That’s like taking off your body armor in a war to be a smaller target.

by Chocula78 on Jan 21, 2010 9:10 PM EST up reply actions

he probably though carcillo had his off...

since that is what you do before you punch someone…you have downs fuckin syndrome if you dont realize that plus he was looking down so he didnt know carcillo had his gloves on and you are probbly just mad that avery beat the shit outta carcillo and voros scruffed asham

LETS GO RANGERS!!!! SECTION 405!!!!!

maybe this flyers fan is just mad because he has a baby dick

and he boyfreind is asking him to go through a tough procedure to get it enlarged

Er...a bit much. Even to a Flyers fan. Let's play nice, folks.

we need a goal like hartnell’s face, UGLY!

by bludgeon213uk on Jan 21, 2010 9:05 PM EST reply actions

I wanna see Torts v Laviolette

by XLII on Jan 21, 2010 9:06 PM EST reply actions

I’d pay to see that

Save by Richter!

by spartan12 on Jan 21, 2010 9:06 PM EST up reply actions

it wouldn’t shock me if they went – couldn’t make laviolette’s face any uglier tho

by Joe1969 on Jan 21, 2010 9:07 PM EST up reply actions

that is always hartnell’s advantage in a fight other than the visor no fear of being uglier.

by Michael Gleich on Jan 21, 2010 9:07 PM EST up reply actions

if it goes 3-0 or is still 2-0 late do we get a buffalo ottawa brawl?

by Michael Gleich on Jan 21, 2010 9:06 PM EST reply actions

Is that the one where Dru got killed?

by XLII on Jan 21, 2010 9:07 PM EST up reply actions

well that the hit on Dru started, he didnt get killed in the brawl itself.

by Michael Gleich on Jan 21, 2010 9:08 PM EST up reply actions

Yea that’s what I meant

well…in a game like this, the grittiness of dubi, cali, and drury might work

If these two teams make the playoffs and we beat the 2 seed and Philly beats the 1st seed, we’d have one bloody series on our hands

by XLII on Jan 21, 2010 9:11 PM EST reply actions

We don’t meet again till mid-March, that sucks

by XLII on Jan 21, 2010 9:12 PM EST up reply actions

hockey doesnt work that way as they reseed, not brackets.

by SIRangers on Jan 21, 2010 9:13 PM EST reply actions

agreed it seems like we’re content with losing this game by 2 and we’re trying to limit their goals the rest of the night

You think the Flyers bully Briere in practice just to stay sharp? He doesn’t really fit the mold of a Flyer.

Eh. Looks like Smurf was right.

We’re playing the entire game on the periphery, resorted to our old style of hapless offensive play. The Flyers are NOT this good.

Keep moving your stupid skates. Quit all this coasting around BS! Sick of it. And when clearing the puck, hit the fucking score board if you have to just don’t shoot it up the boards where the point has a chance. Stop sucking so much!!
