that is to say
that it makes Emrick sound soothing in comparison, and Emrick has a really annoying voice

OK, but seriously
why do we have to watch a game broadcast by MSG’s B teams every time the Rangers play at the Debbies or the Icelanders?
dammit i hate the devils...
I liked kovalchuk before when he was w/ atlanta… then he became a devil… he is now dead to me.
Wish icould have seen shellys first fight but I’m in class :(

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
i dont believe the lotto works that way, it is just the winner moves up 4 spots (or to number 1) the rest stay or move back a max of 1 believe.
by Michael Gleich on Mar 10, 2010 8:37 PM EST up reply actions
oh ok.. and are all teams put into the lotto? with teams with worse records having a stronger chance at winning?
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
only the ones missing the playoffs and yes it is weighted.

Sweet, we play the Trashers on Friday
Hopefully, they kick our ass and pass us in the standings. Then we play PHI, we are not going to win that game. We then play MTL. And next thursday we play STL.
What are the odds we go 0-4-0 this upcoming week?

unlikely cause it would be good for the team, so they will win 2 to stay in it knowing them.

I actually just got home a little while ago, had to go look at an apartment, then after I came home, I was watching, but conversing with the missus. I came in right after Prusts goal.

by Michael Gleich on Mar 10, 2010 9:00 PM EST up reply actions
Yeah, but PHI has an easier time winning games to take off again.

i dont disagree i screamed at the tv w that dumb penalty in a tie game knowing the isles blew it right there
by Michael Gleich on Mar 10, 2010 9:01 PM EST up reply actions
But in the long run, I expect Philly to make the playoffs
So a loss last night against the Islanders would have been awesome.

by Michael Gleich on Mar 10, 2010 9:02 PM EST up reply actions
Yeah, if he’s going to take a penalty, he should at least beat the crap out of someone.
by Lunkwill Fook on Mar 10, 2010 9:00 PM EST up reply actions
Did you see that?
Redden knocked someone over in front of the net.
this is where torts cant help himself in a game where we have 3 goals he throws all the lines around.
I want a Shelley-Gaborik-Redden line.

I've reached a point where I'm rooting for moral victories.
It’s been a while since I thought that way about the Rangers. :(
"...also I'll brush my teeth and remember to turn off the stars at night and put the hyena out." ERNEST HEMINGWAY
The question is
Where were the backchecking forwards? There was plenty of time for them to get back.

Wow.
Bad, bad night.

"Marian Gaborik.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"

I don’t think the Rangers realize they have a better chance of missing the playoffs, than they do getting in.
"Jaromir Jagr.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"

"Marian Gaborik.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"

the only reason they have any shot right now is the concussion to savard.

If I'm a Ranger right now...
I’m assuming I’m not making the playoffs. They know better than us how screwed up the team is.
by Lunkwill Fook on Mar 10, 2010 9:27 PM EST up reply actions
I don’t know… no chances except line shuffling… don’t know what is going through the coaching staff’s heads.

Theme song from Looney Tunes is my guess.

Sullivan: Hey Torts, are you thinking what I’m thinking?
Torts: Yeah, but I don’t know who Lisin is.

i like sullivan’s interviews but i think our D played better with schoney behind the bench.

Torts head .....
Squirt the fan with water, throw water bottle into crowd , yell at Larry Brooks, curse a little, then REPEAT !
Fire Torts. Pass it on.
"Jaromir Jagr.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"
- Sam Rosen
"Marian Gaborik.... it's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"
-Sam Rosen
At this point I'd have to agree
This is the same team that made the playoffs last year plus Gaborik. There’s no reason we should be this bad.

tomorrow big night.
tb, isles with very winnable games…clb/atl play each other so someone has to win.
philly and montreal should pull further away.
carolina and florida have toughest games of teams trailing us tomorrow.
