I think they should give Anisimov 2nd line minutes, drop Drury down to 3rd line center.
And have Dubinsky centering Gaborik

although dubinsky is stronger on the boards than EC, so I guess that works

i dont care what number they call it, just PT. last game at least in the first two periods it was pretty even for the top 9 forwards. the problem came in the third where AA played 2:14
Anisimov seems to get knocked off his skates easily for being a bigger guy. He’s taken some shots this year. I think he needs to get stronger, hopefully that will come in the offseason

But even if I was I’d have picked it that way. I liked Cornell alot, if they were anywhere else I’d have them even farther, I don’t like them against Kentucky.

Had to pick a team other than Kansas. Didn’t trust them. Was praying Vermont would beat Syracuse, and Duke can’t win, so naturally, Kentucky was a good option.

(well..that’s cuz I had UTEP over Butler).
That was real close, Murray State was actually the better team too!

Well..of course there, cuz they stink. But Boston sucks too (can never say that enough you know…think I will again, BOSTON SUCKS!).
But they’ll keep the season interesting right till the very end. They’re still in it….unfortunately.

if toronto keeps up the run they are on that pick that looked top for a while could end up 6 or 7 which while still good would be great to screw boston.
which is why there is 10 games left and toronto has won 7 of 9. they are only 7 behind us and we play them twice, so they could even catch us if they keep it up.
pssh, you forgot Sather will trade for the pick!

The signings I would make in the offseason
I would sign someone like Plekanec to play with Gaborik. Then possibly Frolov, to play with AA. But, Plekanec is a must IMO. Plekanec is a fantastic playmaker, and would thrive with someone like Gaborik. Then of course resign Prospal. I think those acquisitions would solve our offensive blunders.
Now to the defense……………………

I do not expect Staal to be making in excess of anything over 3 million
Girardi is making 1.5 mill and I would not bring him back, so there is another 1.5 off the books.

and im saying we could all say what we would do but it wont matter when sather wont undo what he has already done.
if vinny goes, he has to be replaced (ie another kotalik)
if girardi goes then we are talking another contract he gives out.
can we really believe that suddenly next year they will let sangs or even potter play next year when they watched this trash all year.
That is why I would have traded people like Girardi at the deadline
To first gain draft picks, which would make the strongest part of the team, its farm system, even stronger.
And second, to let guys like Sanguinetti and co. get extended time to play and earn their stripes with the big club.

DONT SKATE BACK TO FAST ROZIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!
I WOULD HATE TO SEE YOU GET TIRED. What a waste of space, to the plank!!!!
Wretched, Wretched Performance
The Rangers are absolutely putrid. MDZ got the only goal, but he demonstrated that he cannot play defense all game long. Henrik the only Ranger that looked like he belonged in the NHL. Olli out of position and taking stupid penalties. Gaborik invisible. Nobody able to pass or shoot in the offensive zone or clear in the defensive zone. Everyone seemed slow and tentative. Boston is not a good team and the Rangers are playing as poorly as any team in the league. Right now, the Rangers are not as good as the Oilers, Leafs, Islanders or Hurricanes. We are so bad that we deserve the first pick.
