What's going down with Matt Gilroy and Marc Staal
I've noticed that for the past two game Matt Gilroy has played less than ten minutes in each of them. i understand that he isn't our best defense man or even close to it, but he's a decent d-man and certainly gives the NYR a better chance to win than playing Wade Redden for over twenty minutes. He also has the potential to develop into a solid offensive d-man so he should get all the ice time possible. So why are his minutes dropping under ten minutes
Now onto Staal. For the past two games he has seen less minutes than every d-man except Gilroy. He does still see over 17 minutes but when redden and roszival are playing over twenty something minutes each, I wonder what is happening with Staal? Is he injured, or does he no longer wish to play for this team? Does anyone know?

Maybe Torts is considering tanking?
The more the R&R sister’s see the ice, the more chances for them to fk up and help the Rangers lose.
My best explaination.

Similar Situation to Hank
Everyone is saying let Hank get his 30 wins then rest him. Speculating on something like this is tough, but time will only tell.
If Alex Auld and Chad Johnson start getting games soon, I would respect and praise Torts for keeping an eye on the future; something unheard of in Glen Sathers’ mind.

After seeing how lame the Rangers have been since the break with their lack of heart and competitive spirit, I have come to one conclusion. This team is tanking without letting the entire world know. How MSG sells out with this team is worth wondering to me. However, if prospects are to be called up and play; signifying 100% a lost season, they assume they would be flipping off the fans or something. (I’m trying to act as clueless as Dolan is on that one, don’t shoot)
I’ve been optimistic with this team all year up until the past 2 games. Now to me the Knicks are more entertaining, and I never thought to ever even occupy any attention to basketball as long as there was hockey on TV. Regardless, like everyone with any hockey knowledge whatsoever, Sather needs to go. The only hope I have in that is the fact that Isiah was eventually fired.
This team has a new problem every day. They can’t score enough goals to seal the deal come olympic break. All of a sudden they’re still losing games while scoring 3 or more goals in 6 of their past 10 games? It’s like you say if this happens or if we do this instead we could probably see more success, then a whole new issue appears that just renders you speechless. (Big shock there)
Don’t mind me and my rant, but some of you know how optimistic I have been this entire season, and trust me it wore me down trying to maintain it. Luckily, we have been drafting smart recently or so it seems. We have Detroit’s old scout or something right (Whose name I want to say is Gordie Clark)? I think I saw that somewhere on this site before. I always said I’d kill to have a scout like him on the Rangers so perhaps I’m just Really delusional.
