Rangers Top 20 Propsects, Spring 2010

Hockey'sFuture released an updated list of the Rangers Top 20 ProspectsArtem Anisimov has "graduated", otherwise all our top prospects remain.  Ryan McDonagh has been down graded, while players like MDZ, Kreider, and Chad Johnson experienced upgrades.  All in all, it remains a very good farm system, and that's not even considering our young big leaguers.  Also, this list serves as further evidence that Sather in fact did not make a big trade at the dealine.  Who'd of thunk it.

overall a pretty good list though werek should be further up the list as should horak, kreider while he has excellent upside is probably too high. mcdonagh while maybe not a huge offensive d-man has been excellent defensively for wisconsin and hits everything in front of him so i would still list him above gilroy and heik who are both significantly older and heik probably wont be here by the fall list anyway.

i would go mdz, grachev, stepan, sangs, kreider, mcdonagh, werek, gilroy, chad johnson, sauer as my top 10.

Blockbuster Coming!

Look for an off season Blockbuster most likely between the Rangers and 2 other teams! The only way the Rangers will right this ship is by trading Redding and Drury with their 10 plus million dollar combined contracts with a lower cost upside player.Must be done for the greater good! Remember 1994? Remember the outcry when the Yankees let Wettland go for Rivera? There’s a lot of very good free agents out there in 2011! The Rangers have a history of bringing in one Monster to appease the fans but never bring in players for that player to be successful with.Time for new blood all over the Garden…a transfusion is desperately needed.
