Boy the way MSG just broke down the remainder of the schedule, it really doesn’t paint a pretty picture:
7 home games, 10 road games
9 games against teams that currently have playoff position
6 game road trip from March 25th to April 6th

I don’t mind that line that much. I like avery with gabs.
by WalkerNYRanger on Mar 7, 2010 7:13 PM EST up reply actions
well this is the line I’ve been asking for. I think AA should be playing with Gaborik (for more than 2 games), and I’ve said maybe Avery could open up some room for Gabby. Problem is, if they don;t score 4 goals on their first shift, they will be shuffled

4th line
I think the 4th line has gotten more ice time in the game last night and probably tonight then they have all season combined LMAO, not to mention its the only one Torts doesn’t change everyother shift
We got Shelley, and now he thinks he’s a goal scorer. I want to see him fight though.

Sorry to briefly shift attention away from the Rangers, just curious if anyone saw his hit on Marc Savard this afternoon? (If I’m not mistaken he did something similar to Anisimov earlier in the year)

can someone explain to me why against arguably the best player in the league w play staal and girardi together all night and against the rest of the league we split them?
cause.. other teams balance their lines.. so we put staal against 1 line and girardi against the other..
cause.. other teams balance their lines.. so we put staal against 1 line and girardi against the other..when we play a team like the caps with 1 line thats really really good we put them together

because Buffalo has more balance scoring ! I think its cause Torts can’t trust R&R sisters to play well together LMAO

If they changed his role, used him more as a finesse player, he probably could average over 20 goals
Sure he could, if you let him take the puck more and let him shoot, instead of bouncing bodies around, he could get 20 goals or so.
first of all we tried that, we had him with gabby and prospal and he still did nothing. Why would you want to change something hes so good at
He’s wasn’t used on that line to score, he was used to clear the way for Prospal and Gabby. And he’s not good at it any more cause Torts put a collar on him
-1, i think he will. Especially if you let him play more than a few shifts with the same person.

Nobody drives to the outside on a rush like we do
Perhaps the Rangers need a shooting chart on success from sharp angles for which the goalie can play near post.
Please, make it stop.
