Way too much special teams play in that series…same with most of them though, these new-school refs are turning the games into all-star games…it sucks. Good hockey throughout, but the whistles really need to be put away on the ticky-tacky shit.
3 years in a row they lost at home too

MY predictions....
are starting to come true!!! Devs get Kovalchuk, lose in the 1 st round, waste a 1st rounder, Oduya, Bergfors and Cormier…and …keeping my fingers crossed…Kovalchuk walks away …… I love hating on the Devils! GO RANGERS!!!

Ha ha ha
They got dominated.
And this is why the NHL Playoffs are so awesome: even though a lot of us have been noticing symptoms of decline in Fatso, who would have predicted he gets totally outshined by Brian Boucher?
The Kovalchoke trade was a bust. He’s not a big-game player. Never won a playoff series. He has appeared in a total of 9 playoff games and his teams are 1-8. He did nothing in the Olympics. And the Thrashers got some good young talent.
Kovalchuk had 6 pts in 5 games. I’m gonna say Fatso and his 3 games of .857 sv% were a bigger factor. Either way, fun to see them go.
I can’t be happy yet however, I treat both teams with equal disdain.

Dear Devils fans,
It’s ok. The Rangers couldn’t beat the Flyers either.
Signed,
Rangers fans.
