As a Caps fan, who are you rooting for?

I would have to think the Rangers, they hate Philly more, and the Rangers would be looked at as the easier opponent

I have a bastard cousin who calls himself a fan of both the Flyers and the Caps, and the Sharks. I tells him I’m a fan of the Rangers, but also the Redwings and the Blackhawks
I have a student who likes the Devils, Flyers, and Caps. He wears a Briere shirt, a blank Caps shirt, and a Stevens shirt. It’s nuts.
Whoop Whoop Caps
Time to pick one
and ride it out.
There’s a STH in 404 that wears a Caps jersey every night. But when the Red Wings come to town, he’s a Detroit fan.
W…..T…..F!!!!!
Honestly, I’m torn. I want to play Philly in the playoffs to get that monkey off our back. I’m not one of those regular fans who wants to avoid all of the “potentially threatening 8th seeds”. At the same time, I hate the Flyers with every cell in my body. I consider the Flyers more the Caps rivals than the Pens (and both of them consider each other more than us). I’m not a huge Rangers fan, but I’m a fan of good hockey, and this game hasn’t been awful (Better hockey than the Caps game tonight, I’m flipping between the two).
For what it’s worth, I miss the old Patrick division days. I hate seeing Tampa, Atlanta, Carolina, and Florida when I could see the Rangers, Flyers, Pens, Isles, Devs, or any Northeast team.
Whoop Whoop Caps
Personally...
I prefer Philly because of the goaltending issues.
But, I would also like a rematch of last year.
No clue who to root for. Hate both teams. I HATE the Rays.

I’ll be saying it as long as it goes for chrissakes.
Javy will be solid. He’ll be better then AJ Burnett this year, actually.

Best thing about this
is that Montreal just got some pressure on them…..
Currently
Team GP W L OTL PTS
Boston Bruins 80 37 30 13 87
Montréal Canadiens 81 39 33 9 87
Philadelphia Flyers 81 40 34 6 86
New York Rangers 81 38 33 10 86
Scenario:
MTL loses to TOR.
NYR beat PHI Sunday
BOS beats CAR loses to WSH.
These would be the ‘final’ standings
Team GP W L OTL PTS POSITION
Boston Bruins 82 38 30 13 89 6
New York Rangers 82 39 33 10 88 7
Montréal Canadiens 82 39 33 9 87 8
Philadelphia Flyers 81 40 34 6 86 OUT
If BOS loses to CAR and WSH, and MON loses to TOR and the NYR beat PHI. then
Team GP W L OTL PTS POSITION
New York Rangers 82 39 33 10 88 6
Montréal Canadiens 82 39 33 9 87 7
Boston Bruins 82 37 30 13 87 8
Philadelphia Flyers 81 40 34 6 86 OUT
Wild stuff.
Tastykakes
Guess you didn’t get your Tastykakes. If the Flyers had their 4th string goalie in there for the shoot out I’m sure you guys would have won this one.
Next year
