2010 Stanley Cup Champions: Chicago Blackhawks!

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks!

Well, the Blackhawks did what the Rangers couldn't. Beat the Flyers in a critical game. But I digress.

Patrick Kane scored the game winning goal in the first period of overtime, and Jonathan Toews won the MVP Trophy. Chicago bested the Philadelphia Flyers in six games, winning the Stanley Cup for the first time in 49 years. At the end of the day the Flyers magical run had to end, but they should be proud of the way they played this entire series.

Please give your page views to Second City Hockey, and give them their just deserves!

Some things never change I guess

Rangers fans were booing Bettman (deservedly so) when he came out to present Mess with the Cup in ’94.

Congrats to Chicago, is there anything more satisfying than breaking a long Cup drought?

Yea

I forget that every year Bettman gets booed unmercifully. But its always funny to hear Philly do it

I'm glad the Hawks won.

I sympathize with the long cup drought. Congrats, ChiTown. Thanks for beating those Fly-by-nights.

I am so glad the Flyers didn't win!

I can’t believe how much i was rooting for the Hawks. Unbelievable! I very rarely watch them play over the regular season and i really don’t know them that well, but i almost had tears in my eyes as i saw them celebrating. I can’t imagine how i would feel if the Rangers won!

BTW the Flyers are a very good and deep team BUT once again it’s their goaltending thats spells their doom!

LOVE IT!!!

Actually...

The rangers did beat the Flyers in a clutch game. After watching these playoffs I am even MORE disgusted at the quitters out there who wanted the rangers to fail for a draft pick. We lost to the team who went to game five of the Stanley Cup in a shootout.

This topic has been beat to death already in the other two posts. The final point is that you’re wrong, the Flyers are already a good team and didn’t need to tank to be successful.
