Of the options in the NHL the most interesting was from the Rangers. I was interested in playing on attack with my friend Marion Gaborik. But the offer from New York constantly changed because they tried to get under the salary cap. I was offered a very complex contract which included various bonuses. In principle, everything suited me, but the Rangers representatives delayed negotiations without explanation. And we reached the agreement with Yaroslavl in a few minutes. I took a week to think it over, and on Thursday I signed the contract.

We should sign Lee Stempniak, not Kovy. It would be half the price, we would get a solid 2 way player (something Kovy is not) give us money to sign our own prospects, and this guy would thrive in NYC. He is only 27 and has tons of upside.
What do you think?
I’m with you hot dog.if it was a sensible contract I’d have no problem with Stempniak.I’d also check on Artyukhin if he was still available,he would be a nice fit on a line with A.A. 2 big young Russians would be fun to watch.
Hank deserves better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got 2 big young Russians AA and Grachev, I really wanted Artyukin until they got Boogaard to see if there is any untapped potential.
You guys don’t understand with Stempniak, why did no one gobble him up yet? He is so incosistent you would want to kill him, I assume he wants a lot otherwise he would be gone. We wouldn’t get him at a price where it was worth taken a risk on. He would want at least what Lombardi got IMO
Since the face been revealed the game got real
Good thing Boogaard had an agent to break it down to 3 word sentences.

Interesting to note the comment on Bonuses
That means that if you go over the cap because of them, it hits next years cap number, which means to me at least, that they were trying to work a deal that woudl absolutely force them to demote Redden next year at the latest in order to pay the bonses for Demtra.
That at least is promising
good stay away from NY (unless as a tourtist,) Demitra
hooray, no more cap space for Glen to mess things up. Too bad baseball has no cap.
"Fantasy, reality, science Fiction. Which is which? Who can tell?"
i suppose i was the only one that wanted him for a year(trust me, any more than that i wouldve been against). it couldve possibly shown boyle the designated healthy scratch role(voros needs to be replaced) and we could stick avery or drury in between prust and boogs. come on, u cant tell me a line of prust avery boogard wouldnt be relentless
I wanted him for a year
I wrote a story about it lol

Good call guys.
Demo is a terrible hockey player, and you have been spared at least a year of incredibly mediocrity and extremely untimely and costly giveaways.
