Wow

you guys really have a hard-out at 10pm.
Anyways, with Wolski aboard, who doesn’t make the cut when we get healthy?
Gaborik. Stepan
Dubinsky. Prust
Callahan. Avery
Wolski. Zucarello
Anisimov. White
Christensen. Prospal
Drury. Weise
Fedotenko. Boyle

We can just assume Boogey & Frolov are gone & maybe even Prospal, but there are a lot of similar players in there, i wonder how Torts is gonna make this work

Were they saying "Boo" or "Boo-urns?"

Kendrick Blog Talk Radio cuts us off after 2 hours of live streaming, but we can keep the show going “offline”, and everything after the two hours is available on the podcast, which you can download about an hour after the show is over. We are also available on Itunes and Microsoft Zune

Well White’s already banished.

Dubi-Stepan-Callahan
Wolski-Anisimov-Gaborik
Fedotenko-Boyle-Prust

Those are the givens. I imagine Avery-Drury-MZA are the front runners for the last 3 spots, though I’d rather see Christensen in that slot and let MZA get more seasoning in CT if that’s the plan.

The kicker will be if Prospal also comes back, in which case they have to move someone to make room.

This trade means an additional 1.2 Million in cap savings for a total of 9 – 10 Million of cap space available now. Moving either Drury or Rosi would be the logical move if the Rangers were planning to pursue/sign a high priced free agent such as Richards. This move replaces Frolov and cuts cap space at the same time. Interesting next 6 weeks ahead with trade deadline. Bond holders in Dallas are not committing any long term resources until a new owner is found. No businessman in his right mind would risk losing assets for free (Richards) for long shot at the Cup. can’t resign means can’t keep him too much longer … fans in Dallas may think because the team is going well he will stay but in the end it will be about whats best for the teams financial future … not the what the fans want. The future of hockey in Dallas should be the immediate focus … not a long shot hope to win a championship.
