Bantering Points: Looking Ahead To Tuesday Versus Vancouver

 - With the Rangers recent slump, there is one positive outlook on the team. Nick over at the Rangers Tribune points out that the offense is indeed improving, but it just takes time. He points out that Richards are greatly improved since his first game as a Ranger, as well as the rest of the lines.

 - With Jeff Woywitka making his Ranger debut last night, a lot of fans are wondering what he can bring to the table. Glen Miller over at SNY Rangers Blog takes a look at what Woywitka has to offer, and backs his point with advanced stats.

 - We'll transition over to something that we haven't talked about that much lately, prospects. Joe published an article yesterday which provided us with an up-to-date picture on how guys like Christan Thomas, J.T Miller, and Carl Hagelin are progressing.

 - Could Mats Zuccarello being assigned to the AHL, lead to a move? Michael Gleich over at Bleeding All Blue, analyzes how the demotion saves the Rangers some cash, and could be a prelude to another move.

Avery

MZA, Rupp, and EC are all sucking wind.

Not saying Avery is the answer, but I’ve got to feel that it would be tough to be as ineffective as the above 3 players.

On a team that already has issues with penalties

I’d rather not use someone that has a penchant for taking them as much as Avery does. Not to mention he’s dealing with a shoulder issue.

The team could use a Vinny Prospal goal celebration.

This team could use a Vinny Prospal.

Bad bad move letting him go.

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!

Agreed

We wouldn’t need to find a 1st line LW, Prospal-BR-Gabby would be awesome. Then Dubi-AA-Cally, Feds-Boyle-Prust, then you have your choice of Stepan-Wolski with Rupp, MZA, EC, and Avery

Proudly suffering as a Ranger fan.
