Tonight its episode two of HBO's hit 24/7 Flyers Rangers Road to the Winter Classic. The bar has been set after last week's episode with Ilya Bryzgalov regaling us with his thoughts on the cosmos as well as Chinese law and Grandma Callahan showing more fire in 30 seconds than Erik Christensen has all year.
The Ranger games covered in this episode will be:
The 6-1 thrashing of the Florida Panthers at home
The 1-0 loss to the Stars at home
The 4-1 loss to the Blues in St. Louis
And the 3-2 photo finish in Phoenix against the Coyotes

Remember the game where the Rangers had a 5-0 lead in Montreal. Jagr & Shanahan was with the team. That second period the Habs got 2 back and when the fans bitched about calls not going their way & they were legit penalties against them they rioted and threw those pull a part signs on the ice.
All of a sudden, all calls were going the Habs way. The refs were scared of the fans and allowed the game to be overtaken by the Habs. It did go to a shootout, but still the refs allowed the fans in Montreal to overtake their emotions and got scared. Rangers lost sadly, but still the fans in Montreal did a dumb thing.

It would be cool to see more of the players, which was awesome last year
Like no one has really seen Gaborik for more than 2min in the series I’d say, Marty Biron is a funny guy yet there’s been no mention of his name. Have not seen McDonagh except for his give away to Malone in the Tampa game (probably his only blatant mistake of the year). Haven’t seen much Dubinsky, Stepan, no mention of Hagelin too.
I mean don’t get me wrong, I fucking love the show and everything, it’s awesome. I just wish you could see a bit more of the players.
And in the preview for next weeks episode, HBO only mentioned the Islanders and Flyers game, but said nothing about the game against one of our biggest rivals for a while? The Devils? That was a pretty good game with a damn hard earned ending….plus I was there, they better show that game.
Proudly suffering as a Ranger fan.
