Ryan Callahan's Jersey Is The Eighth Best Jersey Sold In The NHL

According to HockeyGearHQ, Ryan Callahan's jersey is the eighth top sold jersey in the National Hockey League. Surprisingly Callahan beats out Steven Stamkos, who sits at spot number nine. Callahan has been considered a fan favorite even before becoming the captain of the Rangers.

Ryan Callahan is often complemented for his consistent work ethic and on-ice leadership. He has earned every ounce of respect from the fans, his teammates and coaches. Adding on his top selling jersey only piles onto the accomplishments he has generated over his career.

Every time at MSG, there are easily hundreds, if not thousands of Callahan jerseys circulating throughout the area. As I stated before, Callahan is, and will always remain a fan favorite on Broadway for years to come. He has easily become the center-piece of the organization, along with fellow goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.

Speaking of jerseys, the Rangers Winter Classic jerseys went on sale on Monday. They can be purchased from the NHL Store, NHL.com and at Madison Square Garden.

I Wonder . . .

. . . how many fans bought Callahan sweaters before he was named captain and went dashing to Gerry Cosby’s to get the C stitched on.

I still have my “A” stitched on, waiting for the “C” to come in the mail so I can switch em out haha.

You found a place that can do that without ruining the jersey?

I just bought a Cally Heritage jersey from Pro-Jerseys.com, in the picture it shows the retired numbers on the inside at the bottom, I hope they are actually there when comes lol.

Should have everything but the 85th anniversary patch.

got mine from pro-jerseys ...

they have both with and without 85th anniv patch. mine came with both 85th anniv patch and retired numbers on inside back. unfortunately i got mine last year and had the “A” on the front. i just brought it to a local sports store by me that does jersey lettering to switch it to a “C”. cost me $14 and i should be getting it back in a week.
i hope pro-jerseys gets the winter classic jerseys with names soon. that’s where i would get mine from. nhlshop has the blank jerseys available now, but if you want a name on it, they dont ship that out till the 20th. which is stupid cause they’re gonna lose a lot of business, cause they’d make perfect xmas gifts.

i know i’m a bit late to this convo, but what’s the quality like from pro-jerseys? i’m about to order a heritage jersey myself, so i thought i’d ask you guys if you were happy with what you got.

If I recall, the retired numbers version was only available in MSG.

I have two authentic heritage jerseys, one from NHL.com from last year and one from SportsK this year (FYI they changed the jerseys for this year, the Reebok swoosh logo has been replaced with a wordmark and the mesh has a less stretchy texture) and neither of them have the retired numbers nor did the one from NHL.com have an 85th ann. patch.

The retired numbers are only from MSG. Also there is no 85th patch on the jerseys this year, that would most likely be why.
