I have a feeling he will be next season’s Stepan, i.e. will sign with the team this spring and make the team in the fall. Or that could just be wishful thinking…
I agree with you, I think there’s a real good chance he makes the team out of camp, assuming he signs. I think we’re the minority though.

Kreider will no doubt make the team out of camp next year, and is on the schedule Gordie Clark gave him when he was drafted, let him play 2 years at BC then see where his development is and have him turn pro.

I said that at the start of the season…I can see kreider playing on a line with dubinsky and stepan next year

is kreider 18? if not, that could be taken as sexual assault :)
awesome quote though, i love the youth infusion. a few each year and before we know it we’ll have a team of core guys.

Torts is going to turn Kreider into a hockey machine. Incredible motor, great speed, plays a team game, knows when to play defense and when to play offense. He is great on the transition.
He is Tort’s wet dream.

dubi, kreider, and cally/gaborik would be an awesome line.

Chris Krieder is American for Jesus Montero
Last night, a comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows
I thought Krieder looked very good at WJC and seemed to step up as a leader in advance of the brone medal game. He does seem to save his best for big games, but he does need to play well in the less important games too in order to be a successful pro.
My concern is that he seems to have too many stretches with little production. And a player who is a year away from the NHL really should be dominating NCAA competition, not going 5 game stretches without a point. That said, after his 5 game scoreless stretch to start the year, he is averaging close to (though not quite) a point a game.
