BSB NHL 11 PS3 League??

mentioned this in the xbox league thread

I wasn't suggesting that I was going to make one, I was just throwing the idea out there to see if anyone would be interested, clearly there is some interest

So does anyone want to organize it? I could try but I haven't done much online play at all to be honest. I could give it a shot though I guess if no one else wants to.

I did really like the idea of playing in a BSB league when I saw the xbox thread. I think it'd be a cool way to get to know each other as well as organize some real NHL 11 competition. It beats having to play the computer and their ridiculously unrealistic passing ability (or dominate my friends here. It gets to the point where I'm surprised if I don't get a hat trick with Gaby...).

again, just throwing it out there, I haven't made a league or anything...

Since someone else claimed the Rangers on my comment in the other thread, I guess I'd take Ovie and the Caps if a league gets created...

hmmm....

maybe good motivation to get back into the game…i’ve had it on PS3 for quite some time…but got into some other games for a while…haven’t played any very recently…i’ll need to go get some practice in.

if i recall…….haha i think my PSN id is the same as on here…(slightly different because its too long; had to check online)

I’m not big on these types of leagues because they usually deteriorate after people lose interest, but if you guys get a ps3 BSB EASHL team, I’ll join no doubt. Or, if there is enough demand for it, i would make it myself.

Or if you have a good EASHL team with an open spot, I’m an offensive defender.

i think im one of those 4...

should be able to get on for a little while today before the game tonight (between 530 – 700)….and i’ll prob be available afterwards as well…..currently i had my created player from a while back who’s a horrid 67 rating at LW…

i’ll prob create some sort of power forward or maybe an Offensive D…if someone already grabbed leetch…maybe i can make sergei zubov….or if i am a forward it might be more difficult to pick a player.

we’ll see later on.

to go to EA Sports Hockey League....

at the top menu look for the EA Sports Hockey League icon, select it.

select the join/create a club option.

search clubs by name: BSB Rangers and send out a request to join.

you can edit your pro from the EASHL menu and add attributes.

that dud missile guy was as good as i’ve ever seen, and yes his penalty shot was absurd.

yeah dont worry...

that was me yesterday…..

but now im a 70 rated Adam Graves with 1 career goal and 4 assists….should be 5 assists if the first game didnt freeze up.

however, i am a minus 8….after that 9 – 0 loss last night.

played like 4 – 5 games while hammered…that buffalo game did a number on me.
its really pretty addicting once you get a hang of it….even if you are yet to win a game still

but again those guys are the champs, and check the rankings, they’re number 1 again this season.

in fact guys, i dont think we realized the honor in playing that game. you could play for years and never play a top 5 team, but we got the number 1 team right out of the gates. we’ll never see them again, but the memory lives on.

The Captain & I just had a tough game vs 3 dudes who were throwin crippling checks the entire game. We lost 5-3 I think, played pretty well until the last 10 mins of 2nd period where things fell apart. And just like the real NYR our PP needs help. But Im sure its tougher to play w/ just 2 guys

i just leveled up from 70 to 73…basically the more games you play the more cards you get…each card gives you a certain amount of exp.

I'm an 80 now, must have played 25 or so games today.

also changing your player type resets your attributes and allows you to modify the attributes. you might be a 70 sniper, but switch to two way forward, and rearrange the xp pointsand maybe you can scratch out a 74.

i’m a power forward….im about halfway to my next card….14/30 game….should be able to maintain the grade level needed too….so by the weekend i should be good to get up to like 75-76

that is all……lost 9 – 0 again today……we really need to practice.

then again…Plusch and I did a practice…and couldnt even win in that………AND i got 2 penalties……amazing i know.

worst of all…time of possession in the entire practice was something like 2:00 (us) to 13:00
