Game 3 Post-game Notes

-Prust-Boyle-Avery. Wow. The three of them showed a ton of heart, along with actual skill.

-Vinny Prospal knows how to be in the right place at the right time, but that goal was caused by Marian Gaborik going to the net. Even if he never does it again, it was great to see that from Gaby.

-Another great game for Lundqvist.

-NBC was terrible on Fedetenko's no-goal call. They showed one angle, and their clock was off by a few tenths.

-Dubinsky's mustache is disturbing, but his goal was astounding.

-Dan Girardi is fantastic. No one in the league blocks shots like he does.

-Drury has been outstanding on the draw, and he dominated the face-off circle in this game.

-Avery still doesn't seem to know what offsides is.

-The refs took a beating in this one.

-The Rangers were resilient all game long. Every time the Caps answered, the Rangers regrouped and bounced back.

-Game 4 at the Garden will be a tough one to win, but the momentum is in our favor. The winner of this game will probably be the winner of the series, as the Caps will be shell-shocked by another loss like this. This is how the Rangers have to win, and it was truly incredible to see.
