as soon as i saw this post..and saw that the buf/car game went to OT i cursed my monitor for a good minute straight…looks like the liquor store if my first stop on the way home from work tomorrow…regardless lets go rangers we got this!

the tiebreaker is wins…buffalo has 40, nyr has 42, and carolina has 38…we should end up with the tiebreaker over both teams.

I thought that would put them 4 points up with 2 to play so Carolina could still tie and win the tie-breaker, right?
It sets themselves up, they’d need 1 more point in the last 2, or Carolina to miss a point.

We’ve made the playoffs all but one year since the lockout and each time we’ve been in the bottom three. I would love to be in the top 3 next year

Not killing yourself to stay in it because you already clinched sounds nice but eh.
Laughing at the Devils because you are clinched and they are out would have been nice.
Not saying anything to your friends who like the Devils because you dont want to jinx it and have your team sitting in april like theirs. Well that is just the reality of being a Rangers fan I feel.
We were number 5 in 08 I believe when we played the devils and it came down to last game of the season we needed a regulation win against them and we woulda had the 4 seed but we didn’t get it…still knocked em out without home ice :)

i was just going to mention this….i think that was regrettably the one game i was able to goto that year….going to the last game again this year…though it will be my 3rd of the season.

ill be there too, taking my nephew to his first rangers game at MSG on his 7th birthday, bought him a dubi heritage jersey and new cap too. can’t wait till saturday, hopefully we will have already clinched a spot.
I like it get em started early…but I’ve been told by numerous sources if you don’t give a disclaimer about the years of heartache to also be endured you may get child services called lol
