Brad Richards on Kreider
Not sure if everyone got to catch the game yesterday but I thought this was worth repeating.
Gordie Clark was being interviewed by the babbling-idiots on a bunch of topics and the topic of Kreider came up. Gordie regurgitate the same ole 'we support his decision' rhetoric but then added that Chris came down to NY for some 'informal' skating.
Apparently Gordie asked a few Rangers what were their thoughts about Chris and Brad Richards replied "who is this kid and why isn't he signed yet?!?!"

A little hard to follow
So who asked a few Rangers their thoughts on Kreider, Gordie Clark or the babbling interviewers?
Let me know how that works out for you . . .
Maloney
Dave Maloney is pretty awesome doing the prospect interviews at Traverse. He asks good hockey questions and the kids seem to be more relaxed talking to a the former Ranger captain and old school hockey guy.
Let me know how that works out for you . . .
Yeah I got no prob with Maloney at all and was not including him in that group.

Maloney
Maloney is great. I wish they would pair him with Sam Rosen instead of Micheletti for the game broadcasts.
Well said, Zuppa D.
+1
"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Nice
When Gomez got traded I had his jersey turned into Staal (the 8 was the only number that really covered up the 9 and it’s a lot easier since they use nameplates now to change the names). Now I’m wondering if I can change it back to 19?

$45
At the NHL Store in NYC. I don’t think they can change it back to 19 because that would entail taking off the 8 from on top of the 9s on the back and sleeves.
Plus I remember at the time I was debating about getting Staal, but figured Gomez was a safe choice because of his 7 year deal and partial NTC. That was my frist Ranger jersey purchase in almost 15 years at that point. I’ve gone a little crazy and gotten 4 more since then. And I’m assuming they’ll release the Winter Classic jerseys in time for Christmas.
