PrintTonight the Rangers will be taking on the Philadelphia Flyers in their final North American pre-season game. The Rangers will be making two cuts after tonight's game, to finalize their roster for Europe. Wojtek Wolski will be sitting out tonight, due to a sore groin.
Carl Hagelin will be replacing him in the lineup tonight, giving him another shot to prove himself before the roster cuts.
Lundqvist will get the start tonight in goal for the Blueshirts, along Ilya Bryzgalov starting for the Flyers. Also in the line-up tonight for the Flyers, he will be facing his former team.
Below are the lineups for tonight's game.
Goalies: Henrik Lundqvist, Martin Biron
Defense: Michael Del Zotto, Dan Girardi, Ryan McDonagh, Mike Sauer, Stu Bickel, Tim Erixon
Forwards: Sean Avery, Brandon Dubinsky, Brian Boyle, Dale Weise, Andre Deveaux, John Mitchell, Mats Zuccarello, Erik Christensen, Artem Anisimov, Andreas Thuresson, Ryan Bourque, Carl Hagelin.

But I want Avery on the roster, even if he’s a healthy scratch. There will be games when we need him. He’s a better option than Christensen and using Borque/Hagelin/Weise as an extra is a waste.

Some Swedish dude name Thuressen scored for the Rangers. Then everything went to hell as Sauer got hit from behind and then Sestito came in from the turnpike to take out i think it was Andre Deveaux and the rangers and flyers got a shit load of penalties during which Jagr scored on a PP goal from the point

Thuresson scored after a great forechecking shift by Avery and Boyle, Briere tackled Henrik, Weise got his face punched in, Deveaux got boarded by Sestito who got kicked from the game and a 5 min major but Bickel was given a 2 min instigator for attacking Sestito for the hit, Philly got a PP goal on a 4 on 3 after an Anisimov tripping and they basically completely wasted the 5 min major with other penalties. You know the usually Flyers Rangers game.

He’s done some dirty things. Last year got suspended for…I think it was a cross-check to a guy’s face. Some spearing incidents…always finds a way on top of opposition goalies. He acts like his shit don’t stink, but everyone knows better.
