LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 04: Zach Parise #9 of the New Jersey Devils can't get a stick on the shot by Anze Kopitar #11 of the Los Angeles Kings as Kopitar scores against goaltender Martin Brodeur #30 of the New Jersey Devils in Game Three of the 2012 Stanley Cup Final at Staples Center on June 4, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Let's try this again shall we? The season can end tonight and the Cup will be in Newark waiting to be presented to its new owner.
The Devils showed some life in Game 4 and managed to win a game in LA.
However, that may have been the Kings secret plan all along since they have been literally perfect on the road this postseason posting a 10-0 record away from Staples Center.
So....do the Kings continue their road dominance and lift the Greatest Cereal Bowl Known to Man? Or do the Devils prove that it wasn't just an involuntary twitch and can make this a series?
Only one way to find out.
Players to watch:
Anze Kopitar has been great these playoffs and look for him to have another big game
Hate it all you want, but Martin Brodeur has been fantastic this post season and virtually won Game 4 for the Devils all by himself coming with some big saves
Well, this could be our last Game Thread of the year; as always enjoy the game and...GO HOCKEY
Prediction: Devils win 3-2 OT
