John Tortorella is minutes away from meeting with the media but, in a bit of a surprise since Tortorella has mentioned he prefers just having one bench assistant, assistant GM Jim Schoenfeld will remain as an assistant coach, joining Mike Sullivan.

If a guy is going to do the job and I feel he is goign to do the job, he is going to play. If a guy is not doing the job, it doesn't matter who he is , he won't play. The momentum swings in the playoffs is too important. It is not fair to the team. The team has worked hard to get there."
