Marc Staal will miss tonight's game, ending his streak at 247 games played. Ruslan Fedotenko will return to the lineup tonight. Kris "Lobster" Newbury has been placed on waivers so the Rangers can return him to the AHL if they want to.

"Obviously, not that good," Staal said when asked how he felt about the play. "He left the game later, and I’m not sure if it was because of that hit. I didn’t think it was a dirty hit; it was one of those plays where I finished my check coming down – it happens."---Eric Staal, regarding his hit on Marc Staal last night.
