Nashville's Shea Weber is awarded a$7.5 million salary arbitration.
An arbitrator has awarded defensemen Shea Weber a $7.5 million, one-year contract. Nashville still has the option to walk away, which will make Weber a UFA.
The New Jersey Devils have avoided arbitration and settled on a one-year, $6 million contract with Zach Parise.
