In case you guys are interested, Blueshirt Underground Radio will be live at 8 PM for the airing of Game 6 grievances. Taking calls, and there is a live chat throughout the show that you can log into with your Facebook account. Hope to see you then.
Did You Know? #NYR's Chris Kreider is the 1st player in NHL history to score 2 GWGs in same postseason in which he played his 1st NHL game.
Kreider has an entire NHL organization and its fan base wondering whether he'll begin his career with the Rangers this spring or return to BC for his senior season.
"It's not something I enjoy at all," he said. "Imagine if you're on my team in college. I'm telling the New York media, 'Yeah, I'm gone. I can't wait to join them.' How does that look? I'm supposed to be a leader in one facet or another, and I'm almost writing off the season
My age group is when hockey really started growing in Florida. It was a fun thing to do. A lot of my friends' older brothers went to the Panthers' games and they'd always be playing street hockey. That's how I mostly started out was playing street hockey and it turned into ice.
Join us at 8:30 PM for the one and only Blueshirt Underground Radio, a mix of Rangers talk and nonsense on Blog Talk Radio. Uncensored and uninterrupted. Live chat throughout the show, and we take your calls. Tonight on the show, Glen Sather and the "guarantee", Marc Staal, Simmonds, Avery, and more. Hope to see you there.
Word on the tweets (see what I did there?) is that HBO crews will begin filming "24/7" tomorrow at the Rangers practice facility.
The NHL Schedule for 2011-12 is due to be released at 2 PM today, we'll have it for you as soon as its released. We do know that the Rangers are opening in Sweden, the Home Opener is not until October 27th against Toronto, and they will take part in the WC on Monday Jan. 2nd in Philadelphia.
Ranger fans, postgame celebration on Blueshirt Banter Radio beginning at 7 PM!
To hopefully clear up confusion for out of town fans, tonight's Rangers game is listed as being on NHL Center Ice.
